Additionally, the tank truck is locked until you complete all required bridges on the Camatuga map. This is because the tank truck is locked for every single bridge until you first complete it using regular trucks. It does require 2 playthroughs to acquire the platinum trophy. It is not game breaking, but it is annoying. This is really annoying because you have to recreate your entire bridge from scratch and almost every time your goal is to change only one thing here and there. You can see the current bridge in the small picture when you select the bridge, but when the screen completes loading all you see is an empty space (nothing has been built). The same is also true when loading a level/bridge from the main map. The save operation seems to work fine, but the load operation is flaky: sometimes they load and sometimes they don't and/or you cannot even see the prior save file (even though it is there). Unfortunately, even with the latest patch, there is a save glitch with these 5 save slots. In addition to auto-save, each level/bridge has its own 5 save slots. With that said, always periodically back up your data to the cloud and/or USB. There are no missable trophies because all bridges may be edited as many times as you wish. So while this really is different difficulty levels of vehicles it is not a difficulty game setting.Īuto-save is used to track your progress there is no way to force a save. The correlation here is that cars would be an Easy difficulty, trucks would be Normal, and tank trucks would be Hard. The heavier the vehicle, the more intricate the bridge must be. The entire point of this game is to get three types of vehicles across your bridges: cars, trucks, and tank trucks. This game does not have a difficulty setting, but it does have something very similar. If at any point you want to give up on a bridge, the trophy guide has a solution for each one. Every bridge allots you a budget that is not too frustrating to complete (Tiltin East Bridge 7 is the exception). You can spend way more than that if you are trying to get the best score possible on every bridge, but for trophy purposes, all you need to do is complete the bridge within the required budget.
If you try to figure everything out by yourself the longest it should take you to acquire all trophies is around 20 hours. This is about how long it will take you if you only care about trophies and do not want to figure anything out by yourself. I personally timed going through each of the 64 bridges and it took me 3 hours when strictly looking at the bridge solutions and passing on the first try. Your play time with this game entirely depends on how you want to play it.
